When I completed the weekend at Landmark, going to work on Monday was eye opening!

They tell you that it is a five day course and I understood when I was able to take what I had learned over the weekend and was out in my ‘normal’ life again.

This was when I could see the transformation that had happened.

I was for the first time able to see all the stories I was creating about everyone and everything. The biggest one was my boss. I had not been able to see how I have wasted so much time creating a story and narrative of completely fabricated lies.

It was hysterical! Because finally I could see in the real world ALL of the stories I made up about every single person!

When I was able to observe these stories, I was able to let them go and my mind began to quiet down!

The meaning I was projecting onto others was able to be called out for what it was – lies.

The peace I was able to welcome into my life was a game changer. The sleep I could now have was deep and meaningful rest.

Who knew that my mind played story upon story all the time.

We all want to have meaning in our lives, but we tend to make the meaning keep us safe rather than connect us to another human being. This is fear from our past hurts that make us want to stay safe.

Truth is staying safe is also a lie. And what kept you safe before is actually hurting you.

Think about those who retire. They work their whole lives to get to retirement. Then when they are on their death bed, what do they talk about? Life! The challenges, the adventures, the meaningful moments on what made them who they are.

Not the sitting around and watching television. Meaning is important. Make meaning about your own passion and not a story about people being heroes and villains. It will be life changing!

Much love,
Trudi
